VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR THE 2025 NCAA® MEN’S FINAL FOUR® IN SAN ANTONIO
Be Part of the Action During College Basketball’s Biggest Event​

SAN ANTONIO, TX (December 11, 2024) – The San Antonio Local Organizing Committee (SALOC) today officially launched its volunteer program for the 2025 NCAA Men’s Final Four, scheduled to take place April 4 through 7, 2025. The program aims to recruit 2,500 volunteers to help welcome more than 200,000 visitors and locals to downtown San Antonio during this iconic event.
San Antonio Sports President & CEO, Jenny Carnes, announced the program during a press conference at the Alamodome, emphasizing the sports commission’s 40-year tradition of volunteerism. “Volunteers are the heart of every successful event we host,” Carnes said. “This is your chance to be part of something extraordinary, create memories for fans, and show the world what makes San Antonio so special.”
Other speakers included L.J. Wright, Director of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship, and Alex Lopez, San Antonio Assistant City Manager, both of whom highlighted the importance of volunteerism to the event’s success and the unique opportunity it offers to share San Antonio’s legendary hospitality.
Elena Wells, Executive Director of SALOC, also encouraged the community to get involved:

lines of the excitement and representing San Antonio to the world,” said Wells. “Whether you’re
greeting fans, assisting with events like Fan Fest, or simply sharing your love for our city, this is an opportunity to make lifelong memories while giving back to our community.”
Volunteer Program Details
Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist with a variety of activities, including greeting fans, supporting event operations, and engaging with visitors at events like Fan Fest presented by Capital One and the NCAA March Madness Music Festival Presented by AT&T, Capital One and Coca-Cola. No stadium-related volunteering is required.
Volunteer requirements include:

Must be 18 years or older by the time of application.

Completion of a mandatory background check.

Commitment to a minimum of three, four-hour shifts between March 31 and April 7, 2025.

Attendance at a volunteer orientation session in March 2025.
All volunteers will receive a 2025 NCAA Men’s Final Four uniform (polo, cap, and sling drawstring bag), four complimentary tickets to Fan Fest, an invite to the exclusive Fan Fest Preview event, and an invitation to a post-event celebration party in May 2025.
Special Recognition for a Local Volunteer Legend
During the event, SALOC also honored Pat Frost, who celebrates 25 years as the organization’s board chairman in 2025. Frost was recognized as San Antonio’s “#1 Volunteer” for his dedication and impact.

Registration is now open at www.ncaa.com/mff. Interested individuals are required to create an account, select their shifts, register for an orientation date and pass a background check, and then join the team bringing the 2025 Final Four to life.
